RESPONSIBALL Internship (6 months, 50% in Biel/Bienne)

Schwery Consulting, a social entrepreneurship based in Switzerland, is recruiting for an intern with good knowledge and understanding of social research, with a passion for sport (in particular football) and a commitment to social responsibility.

We have recently launched the annual RESPONSIBALL Ranking, and are working to improve a new beta version of the website www.RESPONSIBALL.org. As such, we require support mainly to develop and promote the RESPONSIBALL platform as well as other Schwery Consulting projects in the field of football and social responsibility.

The role will be for six months, starting from mid-/late-October 2016.

Main responsibilities

  • Contribute to website redesign project
  • Monitor and communicate via blogs, forums, and social media networks
  • Create newsletters and run promotional campaigns
  • Lead fundraising / grant applications
  • Contribute to report writing
  • Conduct phone interviews and desk research

Requirements

Individuals applying for this internship should be a Swiss or an EU citizen and have a very good command of English or be a native English speaker.

Preferably, they should have a degree in one or more of: CSR; social sciences; environmental sciences; or sport management, with sufficient experience to cover the responsibilities listed above. Experience with WorldPress or other other content management systems is definitely a plus.

The company has considerable experience in supporting sport federations and sponsors in this field and took an active role in the working group that was formed to develop the Global Reporting Initiativeʼs (GRI) new Event Organisers Sector Supplement – international reporting guidelines for sustainable events.

The ideal candidate should be passionate and keen to learn more about social responsibility in sport; have strong organisational and project management skills; be able to work independently and manage his/her own workload; and be entrepreneur-minded and motivated to identify new business opportunities.
